Jack O Lantern Public House / South Ockendon/ Essex

Proposed new build apartment development to replace an existing Public House to provide 14 modern apartments with associated parking and landscaping. The proposals have been developed in close collaboration with the Local Planning Department which has resulted in extensive pre-application consideration.

Our primary aim was to respond to the concerns raised during the pre-application consultation to design out any contentious issues which may result in a planning refusal, whilst ensuring that we make best use of the site in terms of orientation, access, visual impact, mitigate overlooking issues and make best use of views towards and out of the site.

The final proposals submitted for planning approval comprises a new build apartment block over three levels providing a total of 14 units (7x1 bed units/ 7x2 bed units) equating to a development density of 206 habitable rooms/ hectare. 18 no. car parking spaces are provided.
