Centrepoint

Complete stripping out and restructuring of existing offices and hostel for Centrepoint, to create mid-term stay facilities for young people in Central London.
 
"The project was part funded by the Homes and Communities Agency as part of their Places of Change programme, an initiative to improve the environment and opportunities for the most vulnerable in society. The brief was to provide an open environment to replace to original institutional set up.
 
The existing building provided a number of challenges, in particular the coordination of a large number of facilities on an extremely tight site, with limited resources.
 
The completed building contributes to a culture of trust and responsibility, in keeping with the aspirations of the Places of Change initiative."
